Gujarat, India: I was born and raised in Gujarat for almost eleven years. This is one of my favorite places to visit because it just brings back so many of my childhood memories. The place is full of culture and various Indian cuisines.
This is Surat, a city in Gujarat, close to where I lived.
Orlando, Florida: Universal Studios is one of my other favorite places in Orlando. It holds many theme parks, one of my favorite is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I got to visit it this past summer and it was amazing to see how everything was brought to life from the movies.
This is Hogwarts, where most of the Harry Potter is filmed.
Oh wow, Urvi, how great that you lived in India. And Wikipedia tells me that Surat is even mentioned in the Mahabharata: how cool is that??! And of course thanks to the Patil sisters, there are all kinds of ways to tell stories that blend Indian legend and supernatural magic with the Hogwarts world. ReplyDeleteIndia is one of the many places I want to visit too! I really want to ride an elephant on the beach (My Indian friend told me she rode it once). I like Florida too. I've been to Universal Studios. I agree with you that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was the best. However, the wait was soooo long.
